Jeffrey, your correct about the Banshee OEM numbers - they sucked. I also think that the card was not ready for prime time due to the drivers. If I recall correctly, they had problems with driver selection when V2's were installed, and the new Glide had some initial glitches with some games. STB/TDFX need to make a concerted effort to ensure that the full driver set for V3 is seemless. I'm still waiting for full open GL support in that its' a feature that others have and we don't. STB knows what this means to OEMs and I'm sure that they're putting a lot of their effort and resources to making sure the complete package is ready for prime time - this is what they do best. Meanwhile, I hope they make enough boards to satisfy the potential huge demand from the retail side. On the other hand, a Dell deal will put 10 points on this stock ... Joe C.
