Stitch,I agree with you about shorts. They are usually very well informed--they would have to be because of the risk they undertake-but I think the reason they are held in so low a regard is the unabashed slamming of the stocks they short. They post innuendo relentlessly, they monger rumours of their own making, they cheerlead doom and gloom at every turn.I think it is naturally hard for most people to like a constant party pooper. On the other hand, you offer hype free posits which in my opinion lends your posts great credence.I enjoy reading your rational and I hope you continue to post in the same clear and concise manner. You just cannot blame longs for their general disdain for the shorters, they scream the sky is falling, the sky is falling and when it does they usually come back and gloat then move on with same exact tactics toward their next prey! Its a breath of fresh air to have a short explain his reasons without the SELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!repeated dozens of times. So please keep up the fine writing and I will keep reading it and while i may disagree with some of it,I definitely will give it the heed it deserves.

To all: The problem with short sellers is they
work on the psychology of those investors with
little or no experience. They force people who
have been hurt to sell at or near the bottom in
companies which have proven track records and
products. Take the case of Oracle. A little over
a year ago the stock was destroyed after handily
missing their quarter. I remember the terrible short
sellers then bragging about how the company was
finished and the stock would languish in the upper
teens to low 20s for months. Well, we know how much
of a success Oracle has been since then. I believe
the same scenario is in store for WDC. Today's slight
move down on VERY little volume (NASDAQ -83 points)
is a CLEAR indication that the sellers are just about
through with this issue. Every day the news from Asia
is getting a little brighter. HWP will give us another
dose of this reality on the 12th with their earnings.
DO NOT SELL WDC!! As my previous post suggested:nibble
a little bit at this issue and watch it slowly slug its
way back to 20. Don't let these charlatans with their
so called knowledge of the industry scare ya out!! I
purchased another 100 shares today in the upper 12s and
will commit additional dollars if this mini-correction
continues. Good Luck to all who are long on WDC!!!!!
