Please remember that Abe Lincoln disobeyed the Dred Scott decision by issuing the provisional Emancipation Proclamation. The prescribed way for overturning a bad Supreme Court decision is to amend the Constitution or amend the statues. Another way, approved by Jefferson and Madison, is for the people to nullify the evil laws (e.g. Alien and Sedition Acts Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions) i.e. refuse to allow their enforcement in the States. or refuse to convict defendants -- or pardon convicted defendants. The third way is to follow the First and Second amendments in detail, and use the free militia to overthrow the established government. If the militia is strong enough to do it (with no standing army) then it should be done.
