Mr. McVicar, It was just a rumor - I don't know enough about TER to know if such an acquisition would be beneficial. LTXX is about belly-up and they are placing everything on the line with their Fusion SOC tester. I hear two different stories. 1) Fusion will be huge and save the company, selling many units to all of the big chip houses or 2) LTXX has lost most of its customer base an can not compete against TER, KLA etc. Many industry people feel that TER could simply put LTXX out of business if they ramped up their sales initiative.
