On 2-24-98 QWST closed at 71.50 per share. The split was effective prior to market open the next day.

As I was not a shareholder until after the split, I do not know when management announced the split. A guess is 4 weeks prior to the split. For this week the high was 71.50 and the low 65, previous weeks in January had lower lows. As the split is announced some weeks before a split we could be close to one. Close that is if the stock can turn around.
