Fifty-five minutes on hold so far to reach a broker. Wait until Kathy Levinson says lamely on CNBC, "Brokers were available to take customers' orders." Look at the stock EGRP tanking, too. I guess the argument (on this thread) that customers can simply relax and read a book if the service is down isn't going over big on Wall Street.

Hi Shelia...I currently also have a Datek account, but am not willing to trust them with too much money. For example, they have been promising check-writing for over 2 years with no results. Also, some shady dealings in the past that still haunt their integrity.
