I've been following PTVL for the last little while. Seems to be fairly unstable. I was expecting it but never thought it would go down to 23$ (which it did this week). I was just wondering if you had any idea why + if what you had heard concerning a possible takeover might be the cause (then again, shouldn't it help the stock?.

>>>Looks like it could be a buyout. After making several telephone calls, my conclusion is that yes, they are indeed in takeover talks. However, that does not confirm that a deal will take place. All at the top are tight-lipped.

Well you and CBS are on the same plane here...

Dines also likes Preview Travel (PTVL), which recently saw its CEO resign. Preview Travel, which operates across the street from our own San Francisco office, is often the subject of takeover talk. Likely buyers could include any services organization or airline that wants to offer Web travel services, investment professionals in San Francisco tell me.

I wouldn't have suspected anything myself I'm just trading the thing on MACD.
