Nihil, I can't penetrate what you mean here. I think the thrust is that you're recommending sterilization of violent criminals, but you say some things that I interpret as meaning the opposite.....? Everybody! Read the "A New Germ Theory" article by Judith Hooper in the current issue of The Atlantic! It is SO interesting. Science pays my rent, but I admit that it is at its root a subjective undertaking. It is a humanity. And like any other subjective human tradition - it is corruptible by the application of sustained bias. Look at German sociology in the first half of this century, or the whole Soviet (Lysenko?) genetics thing.
