Y2K concern may surface as close as July-August, or early Sept. this
year.

Internet stocks will be pulled down by the whole market.

When a programer tells you all Y2K bugs have been fixed, never
believe it 100%, there are always situations unexpected, there
is no 100% test.

I don't really know how much cash should be allocated but
must allocate some cash for better opportunity in Oct-Nov-Dec.

Hopefully, AOL will hit $165 by August and a split to sustain the
price into Sept-Oct-Nov period.

People who use internet and trade online are mostly people who
would cause the Y2K panic because we are fast!

To sit or not to sit, to trade or not to trade, to face the tidal
wave or not, boy, big decision to make, maybe close your eye, shut
the internet until May, 2001 is a better way to cope with the
Y2K problem.

Well we think that it isn't the y2k problem but the public reaction.
A chain reaction of enough people panicking and converting their stocks to cash could cause a major correction! My husband thinks it won't be a one time thing, but stretched out over a period of time at year's end...
This is really something to think about....our money won't disappear, but access may be limited to our accounts after Jan 1 by the Y2K problem. If the market basically crashes, man, I would love to be in cash to pick up stocks cheap at the fire sale.

In Wisconsin the power companies are warning people in the outlying areas to have generators ready because some electronic devices in the grid may not be updated in time....
