Norwegian and Scottish okay if Atlantic caught. Also Alaskan salmon very good if caught (not farm-raised).

Tuna is caught in ocean almost exclusively. Read the label on the can if in doubt. Sardines packed in tomatoes, mustard or water also good. Do not buy canned fish packed in oil. It is usually soybean oil and is very high in poisonous trans-fatty acids.

Diane,

80-90 percent of Atlantic Salmon is pen raised but I think very fine indeed. They are fed natural coloring agents, and are usually free of parasitic worms. Tuna is nearly all ocean-reared and okay, except you should examine the meat and remove any dead parasites. Not a very wholesome discussion, I'm afraid, but happy to bespeak you again.
