Just a question, I don't doubt you. Where are the Atlantic Salmon pen raised? Always heard they were a pelegic fish requiring room to roam.

Hi Nihil,

How kind of you to remind me of fish parasites: I'd forgotten about that. When I eat sushi, which is not often, I try not to get too exotic in my tastes after reading about worms in some of the fish (I remember the tuna is okay). Living in Hawaii, you must be a sushi expert--do you like it?

I had Pacific smoked salmon for lunch today, influenced by the discussion last night. So I'm feeling virtuous and healthy.
