II Peter 3

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Fortunately for us God is very patient.

Our time frame is not necessarily the same as the Lord's. Sometimes we expect or hope that all we desire would be accomplished quickly, even yesterday. Trials are not pleasant to endure, and some may seem to last forever. When it is hard to be patient He may be saying "Be still and know that I am God."

Romans 5:3-4 tells us "...we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:"

The trial you endure may be God's training of you His servant!
