Mr. McLeod,

I have a question re: this message you just posted on Mr. Pink's thread.

>>BII hasn't even filed yet, go to Edgar . It will be months even if the filed to day. BII said not long ago they didn't expect to be there till latter part 99 . Any talk of some reverse take over is also c--p. Ownership controls little stock and no shareholders resolutions have
been circulated as of yet to take any such action..The so called approach by NASDAQ is a joke, not long ago NASDAQ approached every TecH. company on the VSE.
NASDAQ has a sales force like any business and they make cold calls. <<

My question is, what is your source for saying they don't expect to be on the NASDAQ until the latter part of 99?

Godin was quoted as saying "by the end of first quarter 99", right?

I don't recall any mention of latter part of 99...

Regards,
A

Doug,

I'm honored that you'd ask my opinion! Ok, back from the Knickerbocker site I have a few honest comments:

-- The first thing I noticed, very slow to load even with my ADSL connection, if I was dialing in with a 28.8, my husband (or boyfriend, or Sili, LOL) would have already turned on the TV.

-- Buying from Thailand (I assume) gives me many reactions: (a) the jewellry is less expensive than what we pay here, like going to Mexico for silver, which is good; (b) what if I don't like it, do I have to ship all the way back to Thailand? sounds like expensive postage; and (c) "Made in Thailand" gives me the shivers - I immediately think of child-labor, although the likelihood of 9 year olds cutting diamonds is far-fetched.

-- My biggest concerns would be: is this a reputable company? Are the precious stones genuine or am I buying a cubic zirconia? What about a guarantee, pertaining to the quality, the setting (is the rock going to fall out)?

-- I really like the idea of buying direct from the manufacturer or whoever, as I get the impression I'm getting a good deal.

-- Lacks the fun of an auction site, although I realize I obviously have a MUCH better chance of getting the item I want.

-- The designs are a little blah.

Unfortunately, I have not even looked at Bid's jewellry offerings, so I cannot honestly compare it to BII. Those were just my first thoughts.

Denise.
