i can't stand etrade now but i also had aol when all the busy signals were making me nuts (opened the account much before that). it will take me at times 1.5hr to go online. when online, i'll leave aol on even when not in use just in case i'll want to go back online. aol fixed the problem because the media cut their throat ("America Off Line"). egrp needs a lot of bad publicity now. it's only medicine.
If etrade reads this: I WILL WITH NO DOUBT SWITCH ONLINE BROKERS IF IT HAPPENDS TO ME AGAIN. can get the same crappy service for $8. egrp closed at 48 15/16. stock may jump big time if they have a pr monday explaining the problems and why it wouldn't happen again.

Did,nt have the time to read the posting until Saturday morning, but your posting is a joke. Have you ever gone to your banks ATM at lunch time and found all of the ATMs temporary out of service. Your dealing with a e-commerce company who's transactions relay on computer and their software. If you think that any online broker will never have computer malfunction, your dreaming. italiana
