Looks like the Alliance with VerticalNet is still intact STRATEGIC ALLIANCES " As part of our strategy to increase the number of users that visit our vertical trade communities and to develop e-commerce activities, we actively pursue strategic alliances. To date, we have entered into several strategic alliances including a content distribution alliance with Excite, Inc. and e-commerce alliances with Junglee Corp. and ONSALE, Inc." Onsale Mgmt. has been smart timing its news releases, they played the AtCost news to hid the dissapointing revenues/sales announcement and got away with it now this time they will probably shield off their earnings news with some news item regarding their Industrial Web Site and tie up with Vertical net..it has stayed pretty steady in the 40s so far since VERT goes public on Wed. I might not be surprised to see ONSL silently ride its coat tails, till it gets noticed, once we have a few news item on this on Yahoo,,, this one might be a mother of short squeezes waiting to happen!!!!!!! 3.2 million shares short,, god help those guys buying a few March out of the money calls here
