Dr. Tech,

I agree with most of you facts, but I see a big unknown. When BEL migrates to DMT, doesn't ALA have partnerships with Hayes, 3COM, Cisco, etc and Westell on the ATU-R end? Why should we conclude that only Westell is going to work with Alcatel for the BEL contract?

To all you guys still in WSTL -- and to you, Dr. Death -- I've been following this company since early in 1996. I still keep tabs on this thread to keep up on what's happening with DSL deployments and what (maybe) someday will happen with WSTL. (which is looking less and less likely every day...)

When AMTX was bought out by TXN I took the bucks and put it in CSCO DELL INTC & MSFT. (I was lucky to escape AMTX with a 20% gain in 18 months). Check out a chart of their performance vs. WSTL.

This is a shit company with shit products and shit management. xDSL will eventually make an impact, but Srvhap, Techie, et all were right -- the ILEC's, CLEC's, etc are so tight-assed about protecting their traditional revenue sources that they're going to miss the boat.

Good luck -- and sell this piece-o-crap company before it goes to $1
