to separate Win98 and NT on the KOT.....
a way to not have to include NT in a redundant backup

Right.... I saw separating 98 and NT the only way to avoid the redundant NT backup. While working this out in my mind I,ve also seen the trade offs involved. My system overhead would be greatly increased at this very preliminary level. I'm beginning to understand this cost analysis stuff. Is avoiding a redundant NT backup worth quite so much in added partitioning schemes and reliance on PM or Disk Manager. This what I have to decide and try not to overutilize things like PM.

Going thru the motions of a solution is sometimes the only way to know whats best though, right?
But I haven't completely decided yet... much food for thought being passed over the wires tonite.
