I give up....There are those that think fundamental analysis(the study of the fundamentals of a business) are not important. I can't even begin to understand that viewpoint, but cheers to all who do.
doubt you will do very well in the long run though(relative to the market). I do believe momentum analysis and technical analysis are important to study, but only as an aid to fundamental study.....it is the type of analysis that has the best and longest track record. But aggain, those that think like you, only that they are symbols with charts, create excellent buying and selling opportunities for the rest of us.
