I have no idea what Asensio does and I do not follow him..

My requiremnets are quite low....10% of the sale plus 30% of any unrealized loss

Hey Mike, how do you know he hasn't covered some of those positions?

We can assume he's still in ABTE, but there have been no recent releases on ISEE, WDRY, ZONA, CCSI or AVNT.

It doesn't cost anything to maintain a short if it doesn't rise above your entry, except 'opportunity' cost. Even if you use 'buying power' to enter a position, there is no margin interest, unless the price rises and you have to borrow to maintain the security requirement. Asensio is likely getting paid to wait out the demise of these companies, because large accounts get paid part of the interest paid on the funds that are generated by the short sale.

Of course, all of the positions you've named are well below his recommendation price, except ZONA. ZONA is just below his rec price. It certainly looks like a winning portfolio to me.

Why do you worry about other folks portfolio's?
