Francis, re: HS

Your concerns are duly noted, however my responses are:
1) Yes this sector is competitive, but I think the reality of the situation is expressed by the CS First Boston analyst: "Pitt said that despite challenge of direct PC sales and Internet, revenues from the distributor channel are projected to grow faster than personal computer/information technology (PC/IT) market as a whole." Remember that HS sales are mainly in Europe and the bulk of the E-tailers emminate from the U.S. How do you explain their record December? ($1 billion in sales) How do you explain 6 analysts recommendations of Buy & Strong Buys?
2) The insider selling records are mostly individual shareholders and I am theorizing that some may have been due to tax-loss selling. HS traded above $20 for the first half the year. The sales of shares by 2 officers within the last 3 months represented only about 3% & 7% of their holdings, so I am not alarmed at all about that.
3) Short ratio high? It'll be nice to see them squirm and cover soon. I would suspect this latest buy recommendation has got them nervous, since HS needed some attention and got it yesterday.

Bottom Line - I can't see any downside here and I hope investors start to discover this undervalued company and get it nearer to its true value
