I usually post abstracts to those who ask about LGND's science, but not everyone who asks can necessarily explain LGND's science as presented in an abstract from a scientific journal.

Many who read this board do not post, so although a given post is directed to a specific poster, it is meant for all to read, and scientific abstracts will be read at MANY different levels by readers and posters to this board.

Usually, the one who puts up a post can answer questions better than the one to whom the post is directed.

roland, i'm happy to give you my TA perspective fwiw.

LGND looks good to me from TA now. i'll break it down. i look at 5 indicators 1) price 2) volume 3) moving average 4) bollinger bands 5) BOP & Moneystream - TC2000 proprietary indicators measuring underlying supply and demand and money flow.

price - from low about 6 last summer has increased steadily to about 13. not in one jump but a series of small moves with each being tested and the price establishing higher lows and higher highs.

volume - better now. last summer the volume was quite low as the stock drifted down.

moving average - i use a 20 day mostly and lgnd has been doing a good job (since summer) of coming off that avg. every time it has a correction.

Bollinger Bands - basically an envelope surrounding the average which shows the range and volatility. lgnd has been moving up in the upper half of the band without dramatic moves above it. nice steady, reasonable volatility.

BOP - improving and solidly in green the last couple weeks showing demand.

moneystream and On Balance volume - both have been improving gradually showing some momentum and money flow.

bottom line - very positive but we all know, with biotech, news can overwhelm TA any time.
