Friday's WSJ said CSCO PE around 130. That's extremely high. CSCO historically at 60 PE (already very high). Based on this, at 60 PE CSCO should be at around 50$. Seems like around 100 seems to be still a very good exit point considering the fact that it can go to 50$ which is its correct value. imo.

Almost all acquisitions and mergers in our industry fail. Cisco's the only one that's been really successful in this.

Lord, It's hard to be humble! I wonder if he really thinks the Ascend-Cascade merger was not successful. I wonder if he really thinks the Nortel-Bay merger was not successful. If he does think that, the market does not agree with him.
