BOSS- Building One Services Mr. Pink - I seek your blessings on a prospective short sale of Building One Services - it seems to meet all of your criteria for a quick halving. 1) Ill-conceived, dim-witted LBO by Apollo just broke this morning, reason given is that Apollo and BOSS couldn't agree on how much stock management got to keep post-deal (suspect real reason is Apollo got a good long look at the numbers during DD) 2) BOSS is run by Jonathan Ledecky, a crook for the ages, whose behavior suggests an irregular lithium dosage. His history is hoprrible, having criminally bagged holders in all his excretory spinoffs out of US Office, plus Clayton Dubilier, who ended up controlling US Office at absurd prices. 3)It is conditioned on getting a junk bond deal done. Highly unlikely, particularly since US Office's recently sold bonds have crashed. 4) This company is closely with Friedman Billings, a firm closely associated with crims and miscreants, and... 5) Did i mention Ledecky is a crim? Mr. Pink, your thoughts? Mr. X
