Zeuspaul, <Can my 486 be fitted with 2 monitors ?>
From others on the thread, the probable answer was no. But was advised to look "under the hood"

I looked and it has 3 PCI slots, one of which contains the present video card made by Jaton, model TVGA 9685PCI,,,

From this I surmize that the video card from STB will fit,
STB says that it will work with Windows 95, and my 486,,,so far so good.

Now,,If the computer has these 3 PCI slots, and it does,
Would it be possible to install a pentium chip ?
Would a "slower than todays speed pentium" be better than the 100mhz that the now 486 runs ?
What will "go faster" the downloads from my stockmarket data provider ? ,,,The uploads to my broker ? ,,,(I thought that this is dependent on the modem only),, but am I wrong ?

Keep in mind that I am satisfied with the speed of the system the way it is ,,All I want is 2 monitors, so I can open the data provider and the broker at the same time.

What do you think ?

Thanks
