Kerm,

I meant to e-mail you but I guess I can post just as well after reading the previous post.

In your word processor, it is an easy thing to add a table of contents at the beginning. With your file I did just that, your heading levels are already there. This way the reader can jump to the page(s) of interest.

Andrew / Newsletter

The newsletter's objective is to provide information and comments to all interested in the Canadian oil and gas industry. Everyone has their own specific areas of interest and as a group, covers a broad scope of coverage.

The newsletter is laid out in such the same manner as the information that was being posted at the Korner. There are basically five sections to the newsletter.

1. Canadian Market Activity
2. Oil & Gas Futures Information
3. Canadian Company News
4. U.S. Company News
5. International News

I keep forgetting to number the pages. I will attempt to better the publication with every issue. In future issues, I will list a table of contents - listing the page numbers where each section begins. That will allow the reader to go immediately to the area of their interest.

A brief mention of the content.

I don't think you will find a more intensive coverage of the Canadian markets than that presented in the newsletter. I attempt to cover all sectors with company information. One might want to count the companies mentioned in my column and compare it to totals in other columns. I will probably put less emphasis on this in the near future for it takes an immense effort in terms of time. I have also attempted to add in-depth U.S. coverage only on the weekends.

In the section of oil and gas futures, I have reduced areas I use to present at the Korner. I am concentrating on Brent IPE, NYMEX and spot pricing only. The news offered in this area is that which impacts pricing.

The Canadian company news is as extensive as the news permits. That won't change because that is really where my focus is.

The U.S. company information provided is done in such a manner that it can be related to Canadian companies or the Canadian industry. It gives the reader a total perspective on the whole of the industry.

The same applies to the International scene, but to a lesser extent. I usually focus into the regional oil and gas exploration plays where the Canadians are also active. You will even find information about the Canadian role in some of the articles, which you won't find in the Canadian section.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For those people who have yet to see the free newsletter, merely send me an e-mail message requesting to see a few issues. I will then ask you to confirm whether you do, or don't, desire to receive further issues.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Andrew, I appreciate the feedback, it was the first I've received here at Silicon Investor.

I would like to hear more from those of you who have had the opportunity to review the newsletter. Please post for all to see.

Thanks
Kerm
