nextrade,

Thank You Very Much.....
That is an extensive and complete answer to my question.
It sounds like you have the perfect combinations.

I will be trying to combine onto 1 PC both the TA support and the
execution platform using 2 monitors. For this I will use a AMD 350,
Asus P2b BX Motherboard, PC100 Ram, 9.1 Gig (Quantum VK11 UW) Hard
Drive with 2 video cards.

I expect to be an active trader, but new to trading Index Options and
Futures. I don't know if I'll be scalping points every 10 minutes...
But I'd probably like to >>Smile<<
Atleast, I would like to day trade and also position trade, if my
account size will allow that....?

Thus I will choose a local broker with internet interface, telephone
and walk in access. I need to weigh the costs of trading with a local
broker as opposed to online....atleast while I am learning more of the
subtlties. As I gain confidence the least expensive, most relaible
on-line system maybe sufficient. I am not yet familiar with LeoWeb or
AB Watley or even Townsends Real Tick software....so I have a ways to
go in this area.

I will look at the costs of trading, but I have some serious reservations
about dealing with under financed, overnght start-up on-line brokerages,
who may or may not have the ability to be there in extreme situautions.
So the extra cost of a local established broker access is and will be
an important consideration.

Thanks Again, you've been very helpful.
I hope you stay with this thread...it's a solid bunch of serious traders,
open minded characters and well informed.
I've learned a great deal from these fine people.
