I'm not saying that management is inept. Actually, they're very good, they've built a company from scratch that now does over $200 million in sales with real profits.

What I don't like is that options should reward management for actions that benefit shareholders. By repricing the options, they're telling us to believe in the long-term while they cash in short-term.

Also, as I said before, I think that options as a major portion of pay (vs. an extra bonus) is an accounting sham.

ps - Pat, I'm not that steamed about the provision for the higher ups in case of a takeover. That's fairly standard and it locks in the longer-term benefit they would receive that could be taken away from them in a takeover.
