Ministry of Housing Housing Project Gathers Momentum (i) Cabinet received a report of the Interim Housing Programme which was put in place with some three million dollars, pending on the massive housing project scheduled to commence later this year in new satellite towns. The status report of the Interim Housing Programme showed that since September of 1998 construction has commenced on close to 50 houses, while another 25 will shortly complete processing and will commence construction. (ii) Cabinet received site analyses of several locations for proposed new satellite towns along the Boom-Hattieville corridor and along Mile 25 on the Western Highway.
