Interesting about NKE.
Good, wholesome monopoly.
NBA is hurting things now, but NKE is well diversified into
other sports now, too.
I just saw a bunch of ads for Nike golf balls, of all things.

If he bought during 6-97, he would have paid about 57.00 per share.
It's now at 48 but pulling out of a nice base.
(Maybe he added to the position during the down-draft last year.
Or....maybe even the NBA strike)

1) do we have any sources for current holdings?
the site you referred me to:

newsalert.com
&FQ=%22Berkshire%20Hathaway%22&Title=Headlines%20for%3A%20%
22Berkshire%20Hathaway%22%0A

is for 1997

2) what are current silver holdings (good recent run up)

3) do we have any knowledge (other than Barron's conjecture
regarding possible interest in purchasing Chubb Insurance
of NH.
