Henry---you did not ask me, but my guess is that they sell directly.

Why no news---they tend to say as little as possible.

I would guess they have worked with "test" companies for years
in the spirit of cooperation and to make their products compatible
with the tester tools. It takes time before sales result from
such cooperation.

The recent ties with HWP and TER sounds like some interesting NEW
business is in the wings.

Now it is your turn to tell me why we took the pounding last Thursday
and Friday, and when we will reverse the tide.

Wish I could take advantage of the sale prices.

Rick

Hi Henry,

Well here I am in Chicago.I finished up running a half marathon in Austin Tx only to get a phone call that informed my wife that her father"probably wouldn't make the night".We arrived last night at midnight.Been sitting in the hospital ever since.

Had to get out for my stockmarket "fix".Called around and found an internet cafe called "Screens".So that's my story' I'm paying 9.60 per hour to rent this 450 megahertz T-1 lightning fast set up.Pretty neat especially considering the alternative.

Cohu has offices around the country i.e. Austin. They more importantly have reps assigned to specific customers like Intel and Micron.

I do have a spin on why Cohu hasn't put out an announcement on Teradyne. If you notice ,Ter's announcement didn't mention Cohu,it referenced delta design's castle pick and place testhandler.I think quite frankly it is a matter of professional courtesy not to rub in the fact that a company in the same business is purchasing a piece of equipment from a competitor in lieau of using their own.I think this speaks volumes for the superiority of Cohu's product line.Another big selling feature is the small footprint of the castle testhandler. The size of this device seems to be about half of its previous model.

Cohu has worked in concert with all equip mfrs in a joint effort on many fronts.I think it would be neat to attend some of these semicon
shows to get a possible better feel on that.

What's your feel for the bottom of this shake - further support at the same price prior to earnings announcement or does it get ugly and test high 24's??

Bob
