Aj,
BTW, whatever happened to that "sage" on Yahoo who called McMannis, Yousef and Engel "stupid clueless morons" right before the stock dropped 33%? Are they still solvent?

Anyway, on another note, not necessarily a good one. The first E-machines K6-2-300 boxes have arrived. As I suggested before these are probably the fire sale AFR-66 chips that AMD dumped last quarter.
Hopefully (for the longs and Jerry) they won't have to dump any more and the sweet spot will move closer to 400MHz...

Jim

ajbrenner, Re: The dominos may be starting to fall

For the good of AMD, I think Dell would better never
come out with AMD inside. It is always the potential
that keeps AMD float, not reality. The latest one was
Gateway using AMD and look at what happened ?

One by one the OEMS realize that Intel is a lot more agreeable in
negiations with OEMS that have AMD inside the tent rather just claiming to be "evaluating other sources".
