Maybe I do not understand Shorting like I thought, but,....
If short interest is up so dramatically recently, doesn't that mean, in theory, the stock price would have been pressured downward during that selling?

Since obviously it hasn't, I would think it would take some really bad news for all those "shorters" to realize gains, and any positive movements would be exaggerated due to short coverings, no?

It just seems to me barring bad news (i.e. lower sales or NASDAQ denial) the risk/reward ratio is definitely heavy toward the long side. This is a risky stock in the base case without taking a risk on a risk on the short side. IMO, of course.

kris, you said you were going to short BID.COM last week, soon as you said that the NASDAQ did take a good fall, the only thing was BID.COM didn't fall with it.!!! All that is needed for BID.COM is to announce they signed the NASDAQ application, then look out, not even you would sell then.!!!
