...trying to figure out why I couldn't get CA to produce the results I so desired. Sorry for the confusion. There is also one other wrinkle. If you go to the same site and look up the 5 year growth for VTSS it is something like 235%, yet if you screen on high eps growth it doesn't show up. Go figure. One final warning on screening I learned the hard way. Some screens have more up to date information than others. Morningstar is considered the best by my friends, but costs $600 per year last time I looked. Quicken is free, but as you can see sometimes leads to strange results as you have noticed. Microsoft Investor is very flexible, but costs $10/month. I think for a starting investor, the Quicken screen is flexible enough and also good enough to get you a starting list of AIM'ble stocks. It is one of the few where you can search for longevity of eps growth and also beta on the same screen. I pointed you toward that CA webpage because it is much easier than trying to find the same page on the Quicken site. ---- Dave

Another good free stock-screening site you may want to check out is stockscreener.com It's a free service provided by Hoovers and has good screening capabilities. I was screening for high beta stocks on it a few weeks ago and came across CNKT in the top 10. A couple days later the price more than doubled in 1 day. Go figure. Antigua sounds like a nice place to hold an AIM convention Tom. If my latest stock purchase (CHRZ) goes to 89 (an unknown brokerage firm indicated this as fair value), I may take a cruise to meet you there. Best Wishes, Bill
