Boris, I don't think that LGND's move this morning has been discussed previously. Doesn't this thread cover Biotechs and didn't you attend the LGND presentation at H&Q???? (I liked your badge :-)).

Rick, LGND has already traded over 50K in pre-market action today (which I think is a record) and has been on CNBC at least twice. I thought that one of your money making techniques was to buy on inside info before the news, and then sell into strength at the open. Why isn't LGND "on topic"? This morning CNBC called it a Biotech at least twice and its the only Biotech to get two FDA approvals last week.

Rick, LGND traded over 1/2 million shares in first 5 min. Looks like that's where the action is this morning. Still wondering why it's not on topic. You request sounded remarkably similar to your cyber buddy, r peter Dale (or Dr. Ronald Peter Hellendall in Jenny Ting's lab at UNC). I noticed that Jeff Frehlinger is there also. Are you still in contact?

Rick, If you thought ONTAK's approval was "more good news for the sector" on Friday :
Message 7685545 and on topic on your Value Fund thread, why would the market's response on Monday morning be "off topic"?

BBRS held a conference call this morning and they commented on two Biotech indexes which were down 4.7% and 6.3% last week. Seems that at this time the sector could use "some more good news", including two mentions on CNBC this morning.
