I guess the meeting went well - Nike seems to be one of the few strong stocks this past week. In the 50s already.

Just went through Nike.com. That's a good idea, at last. I went shopping for shoes three weeks ago - couldn't find anything I liked. Went through the website, and found a shoe I *do* like. Now, I know I can just call stores until I find one that has that model.

The power of the web is awesome. Before, I would have just gone to a couple stores in a mall, and picked from the best I could find. Now I can find what I want, and then find the retailer who carries it (ideally with the best price).

Wish I could order the shoes directly from Nike. Save me a bunch of time.

Anyway, Nike looks strong, but its starting to get ahead of itself. Can't say I didn't warn about this: shorting Nike is a market-timers game. Long term, the company has been well managed, and will produce strong results.
