Tomato, that rumour of DeBeers interest has been going around here since last summer. It's kind of The Logical Rumour - DeBeers has an office in Vancouver, and they didn't set it up just for a view of Grouse Mountain. It seems reasonable to expect that their people at least pass wsp people on the street at times, and may even have spoken already, who knows.

Just before leaving in December I heard the DB thing screamed quite loudly, and then about four hours later - guess what - it showed up on the thread.

I'd be quite surprised if they weren't watching wsp.

One thing is for sure - if DeBeers buys in, I sell out. Don't want them for partners - look what happened to mpv. There would be a quick pop in share price .... and then a long slow slide into oblivion waiting in line to produce ... i highly doubt that RT will let us go gentle into that good night.
