Nemer, I have not dealt with any of those firms. You might want to look at sonic.net if you haven't already. FWIW, talk to you later Regards, Frank

Nemer, I've heard good things about Brown in the past

You might want to check out the Schwab 500 service -- more expensive for sure than most deep discount brokers -- but at least they are reachable at all hours -- and their fills have been pretty good.

I've been with them for about 17 years -- though in early days they did not have distinctions in service levels. You just had an account with them or you did not!

Well that's it for me today

Talk to you tomorrow

I have used Brown for a number of years. Very good unless you want to short stocks. Then, they leave a LOT to be desired. I will fill you in if that is an issue to you.

Nemer,

If you use the net for orders Brown is pretty good. The site is usually up and

running .....they are no frills but simple and effective.

They are low cost...no question.

no Level 2 or anything like that they are simply for executing orders
when you have done your DD..

John
