I guess I owe the poster an apology, it is just that I am so sick of bashers/paid promoters that I overreacted.

ALWD investment is more of an investment in ALWD's future and the future of 3D internet than it is with the current product(s).

PC World magazine's title article talks about 3D/Graphics advancements as being the next big thing with PCs, even more so than processor speed. This is because gaming/3D is becoming more and more important to PC buyers - home and business.

Quantum is selling a Pentium II 450mhz w/ 24-meg 2x Voodoo chipset as their mainline gaming system now for about $2,200. Incredible! The 3D hardware is the main sales feature, not the processor speed.

Just six months ago, if you had 8-meg of 3D enhanced video, you had just about the best - like the Matrox Millenium or other cards.

Dell, Compaq, Micron and others are soon to present amazing 3D enhanced machines -- as standard offerings -- if they have not already.

Just about every PC sold by year end will include 3D enhancements, including the all new Pentium III machines.

Anyone remember how "wonderful" it was to play with the first XT DOS machines?? - Everyone has to start somewhere -- 3D will be explosive.

Since 3D is gonna be HUGE, and this is INEVITABLE - it makes sense to seek out companies working on 3D, like ALWD. ALWD doesn't have to be PERFECT, just "there."

"... AWLD is more than @Mart. They can also sell off servers to any number of companies that can develop their own 3D environment.

iPo "

Does AWLD hold the patent to this technology? Are there others that do this or is AWLD the only company into this area?

Thanks, JP
