AFAIK the companies that you have mentioned have already handled the Y2K issues in the latest releases of their products with very few special case exceptions (like discontinued products and such, search their Web site for more information).

As for as all companies having the latest and greatest h/w, I never assumed that. Please don't put words in my mouth. My comment was solely about the s/w side of things (check back my previous posts) and that that has been largely taken care of and should be less of a strain on the h/w budget going forward (which was one of your main concerns). As I understand it, there is going to be a surge of Y2K related h/w upgrades this year (h/w testing is a completely different ballgame than s/w testing) which bodes very well for the h/w stocks IMO.

I would be very surprised if your company is not going to be upgrading the obsolete equipment pretty soon thus helping improve the revenues of your vendors.
