Interesting. I agree a market order is a license for the other side to take your money but....don't you think that the broker has some kind of responsibility to present the order to the market promptly? Can we agree that if I place a market order at 9:29, and it isn't represented until 15:59 that the broker has been negligent?

I do have a case against EGRP. If JBOH was trading at 20 -21 two - five minutes after I
placed the order it should not be filled at 23 7/8 15 - 30 minutes later. No matter what
kind of disclaimer they put up there is an implied warranty or level of service that is
expected from a business. At the very least I should have been able to get a confirmation
immediately from the broker I spoke to 5 minutes after the trade.
