And what pray tell are those? There's a fundamental difference in approach between liberals and fiscal conservatives. If you look at the substance of Clinton's proposals, they're vacuous on the substance of improving standards of living and a detriment to the economic health of the country. One need only look at the United States of Europe and Japan to see what centrally controlled economies and welfare states cause. He's proposed two new entitlements which would no doubt grow to rival Social Security and Medicare. I have no interest in paying 15-22% tax for SS, 4-5% for Medicare, 10-15% for Health Security, 5% for Child Care, and another 5% tax for Elder Care. On top of that is the 13-20% of the budget to supplement other people's income.

Of course, if you'd like to create a permanent leisure class as in Europe. You have the leisurely rich and the leisurely poor.

<<...better idea of the people's needs >>>

Yeah, his idea of ministering to the needs of a white house intern turned out to be a big winner.

You mean Clinton has a better idea of your needs than you do? Hmmm, now that I think about it, maybe he does! (:o)
