FWIW, I think we should eliminate the income cap on SS. That way, all the high earners would care about the measly payout, and hopefully do something about it. SS is a tax on the middle class only.... which is unacceptable.

Well, even if the Republicans are right about those issues -- as they claim to be -- they have failed to convince the public of it. How about trying to get their message across without being hateful of the gays, or women who have abortions, or racial minorities, or ethnic minorities and so on?

Or are we asking for too much?! <G>
