Excellent post. Thanks, Dave.
I 've thought all along, that unless the stock is below 80-85, CMGI longs should be OK. 80-85 seems to be rock solid support.
I am a little disappointed in volatility though... I thought the split will reduce it a little bit. Guess what: more shares - more buyers and sellers :-)

Thank you, Dave. That's the first good spin I've heard put on this "marriage". But I still can't figure out why Lycos management would sell their shareholders out so cheaply in the first place. With their high profile and the attractiveness of their sector, it seems that they have taken an offer that should have been countered. I seem to have read that the Lycos top management will be taking the top spots in the new company. Do you think they let the attractiveness of their new positions/renumeration disuade them from discharging their fiduciary responsibility to the Lycos shareholders?

Frank

Great post Dave, I'm hurting terribly, but held on instinctively. Now I'm glad I did...
