Indeed, it's fascinating, if not quite as entertaining as the MSFT/DOJ sideshow. Have you noticed all the sell-side upgrades on chipmakers of late? If I were cynical, I might wonder about the timing.

I also trust that Michael Dell talks about broadband ["Bottlenecks will go from the data lines to the PC," Dell said. "It'll make PC replacement more rapid."], because he is thinking of the benighted souls who do not yet own his company's stock. Only ill-tempered curmudgeons and frustrated bears could think otherwise.

Only a sap would believe that Micron's brand image, or decline of same, might negatively affect their business. Studies like this <http://biz.yahoo.com/bw/990208/tx_cmp_med_1.html> must be fluff.
