We have four teenage boys between us---aren't they good for anything?
Actually I end up taking out the garbage most of the time.

My dear husband will be the first to admit that he is terrible at "house stuff"-- I just went out on the deck today and there was the saw rusting away, next to the branches of the Christmas tree he'd trimmed two months ago.
Our neighbor came over this week and offered to take the tree away. It was still on the front walk where Dan had dumped it. We'd been walking around it all Jan. I didn't even notice it. I said, "Naw, it's almost time to put it up again."
However, he never, ever criticizes my cooking, or my housekeeping or most importantly, my investment mistakes. So I guess I can put up with doors falling off, and shower knobs that come off in your hand, and cars with expired inspection stickers.

I find taking out the garbage, mowing the lawn and washing the car to be an excellent trade against the eternal Augean pile of dishes and laundry. Spouse even folds my skivvies - now that's true love. :-)
