Or alive. This is likely the company in mind when LT told us about the following recent remark from H&Q:

"Of possible note to followers of this thread, one of this predictions for 1999 was that "one drive manufacturer will suffer serious pain".

I just cannot believe this company is not moving with the sense of "all hands on deck" emergency that Seagate did three quarters ago.

(SIDEBAR: I love the understatements in the above referenced post. LT says "of possible interest". Hmm, maybe so LT. <G> But then Todd Bakar said "will suffer serious pain" as if it wasn't serious yet. A seer in his own mind.<G>)

I think LT would agree with me that the analysts are no more impressive today then they were when we went to Diskcon with Pierre and Gottfried to hear them last Fall.
