While I am on my soapbox regarding short-sellers. . .
Not every person that short-sells stocks is bad. That said up front, there seems to be "dark side" short-seller groups developing at a rapid pace. When looking at some of the most popular stock discussion sites and threads, it sometimes seems that those that "buy" stocks are the minority.

I had always pictured organized groups of short-sellers much the same as I would picture gangsters. The diehard ones speak like gangsters, they hang out in gangs and they move in and out of stocks like an organized gang. I, of course, realize that there is no 'clubhouse' or 'secret handshake' or 'colors' or other such idiosyncracies.

But I must admit, I was a bit disturbed by the picture painted by just one of these short-seller group's leaders:

I have never attended a seminar or convention or presentation of any kind that required such security. . . just a view into the darker side, I guess.
