The news link you provided showed that it is obvious that Belize has a need for housing, etc. This does not rule out PRWT's involvement.

Well, PRWT did that to themselves, didn't they. PRWT has admitted that they do/did not have any authorization to market their homes/lending programs to Belizean citizens. They put the cart before the horse on this issue in claiming that they did in a released press announcement that got many of us charged up. They now have changed their story and claim to be targeting Belize-Americans who are interested in retiring back to their home country.

I wonder how many homes have been sold?

Well Helene, the point is that the Belizean Government has as their priority developing the housing stock of the country. They are going about doing this through these sorts of projects - getting aid from the Cuban Government in the form of a factory to build prefab homes. Not by underwriting loans for housing that is way overpriced by their local standards.
