I am new. Anyone care to give a quick lesson on how to read Level 2? Just a quick lesson will do.

Thanks

Smacs,

Couldn't get on SI before but I watched the runup. AXCS and BISH
are still there though BISH has not been that active leading me to believe he is done selling for now.I'm not sure what started the runup
but AXCS backing off certainly helped. Interestingly enough, AXCS had
been posting a bid that was reasonably close to the market but as the bid got within a penny of his posted price of .30, he backed way off to .23. God forbid he should accidently buy some ALFN. Hopefully it at
least levels off here but who knows.

Seacoast-
Quick L2- Market makers post best ask( the price they are willing to
sell stock to you at) and best bid (the price they are willing to buy
it back from you). The lowest asking price and the highest bidding
price make the inside market which is the quote you see listed on your
service. The rest is supply and demand- more bidders,up,more sellers,
down. Not that simple in practice but you get the idea, best,p.b.
