Nasent,

One thing to remember is that service goes a long way. When you can actually talk to someone that is aware of the product line being sold and get some questions answered its a big difference. Price doesn't mean everything, service means a great deal IMHO.

Nascent,

It is hard to comment on that without entering into a long drawn out discussion about how important price points are.

I build middle to upper range custom homes. I make a profit. The suppliers I buy from make a profit. My clients know that I hire the best craftsmen and that they pay for it. The craftsmen make a profit. They must feed their families....as we all do.

There are 5 lumber yards in town. I deal with one, for the most part. They do not have the lowest prices.....but they do have the best overall quality and superior service. Their prices are fair and reasonable. I know them, like them....and get what I need when I need it. I do not have time to price shop every single item....

Now......the builders in my town who build low quality homes...(not cheap...just low quality) seem to shut down when times get tough. You see...they always need to find new people (who don't know that they build crap) to buy their homes.

I seem to get phone calls from relatives and friends of the people I have built for in the past.....It is really very nice. I only build two homes per year....and seem to have a waiting list. Good times, bad times, no matter.

I don't advertise....I'm not in the phone book. I don't need to be. I like my business plan.....It works for me. I like working with my clients.

The corporate customers Bob Schick and Al Delisle have their sights on.........are business people. They know that nothing is free. They want overall good pricing....and superior service....month after month....year after year. Can you win with a business plan like this?.....Yes....Can you make money?....Yes.

This is just my opinion.....I believe Bob Schick has the right plan....and will make me very happy that I'm a long term AI shareholder.
